Dr. Bjorn ZACHRISSON

Dr. Zachrisson is Professor Emeritus in the Department of Orthodontics at the University of Oslo, Norway. He has maintained a private orthodontic practice in Oslo for over 40 years, and has published more than 275 clinical and scientific articles in international journals and textbooks in orthodontics, periodontics, traumatology, and general dentistry, and presented lectures and courses world wide. He has received many awards and honors from orthodontic societies in Europe, USA, Asia, Australia, and Africa. He is one of few orthodontists who has received both the Ketcham and the Jarabak Awards, the two most prestigious awards from the AAO, and has three times received the Dewel Award for the best clinical article in the AJO-DO (2003, 2009 and 2017). He is the third most cited author in orthodontics.
